THE MERIDA EX 2019 – event video

Hi EXers,
We hope you are all doing well and that you have had the chance to recover from the weekend. We are still grinning from ear to ear and have already started the planning process for next year…so yes, we will be back!

We wanted to grab the chance one more time to thank all of you for coming to our small ‘big’ event and for making it what it was – a blast.

The weather certainly helped to make it extra special with so many mountain bike events being hampered by extensive rainfalls this summer.

Our video and social media team of Dom and Jamie have put a great video together, which we are super keen to share with you. So, grab yourself a cuppa, sit back and enjoy this little reminder of our fantastic weekend at THE MERIDA EX 2019.

In case you missed the results, or want to have another look at the individual times of your runs, then simply click here.

Looking at 2020, we are most likely going to stick with the same weekend, 11-13th September 2020. The online entry will most likely go live on the 1st March 2020 for everybody who has put their name on the pre-registration list. The pre-registration list will be added to our event website (www.the-ex.co.uk) at the end of the year.

Before we go and focus a bit more on our day jobs, we are keen to hear your thoughts of what we can do better and perhaps also what you really liked about our event.

If you are willing to share your thoughts with us, simply send us an email to ride@the-ex.co.uk and let rip.

If you liked what we did, please let us know if you are happy for us to share that on our social media channels as well as our website?

Finally, we would like to send another BIG THANKS to our partners who make this event possible. First and foremost MERIDA BIKES, who not only supported the event but also used THE EX as the press launch of the new eONE-FORTY. It is worth noting that the new eONE-SIXTY and the new eONE-FORTY came 1st and 2nd in the new e-bike category, not a bad start at all! For the details on the new e-bike, please click here.

Further to that, a BIG THANKS to TRP, Fenwick’s, Bontrager, Lezyne, CarbonCycles, DiscoBrakes, RideGuard, Bristol Beer Factory and last but not least National Trust.

THANKS, and see you all in 2020!

Paul & Mike
