THE MERIDA EX 3-day Enduro 2026 is open to just 80 riders.
That means you won’t queue endlessly at the start line of a stage or for a beer or a burger all weekend. You won’t ride a single knackered corner or braking bump.
You’ll ride with your mates, and you’ll make some new ones … then you’ll party with the same people in the evening (if you can keep your eyes open, that is!).
It’s fun, it’s no hassle, and it’s low-stress. It’s also low impact on Exmoor’s trails and the area, which is good for everyone and gives us a chance to return year after year.
As in 2025, we are open to entries from both ‘e’ and ‘analogue’ bikes, and will have race categories for both. We will also bring back the popular ‘Pairs’ category.
So for you ‘e’ bikers, we will have dedicated charging facilities at the event HQ in Allerford, for you to charge your batteries at the end of each day. We will also offer the option to chauffeur your second battery to the Vintage Tea feed station on Saturday and Sunday. You can also plug in at the tea stop to top up your battery whilst you munch some finger sandwiches and scoff some scones.
The all-inclusive entry fee for THE MERIDA EX 2026 is £425 per rider
THE MERIDA EX isn’t your usual one-day event. It’s a three-day, all-inclusive mountain bike adventure. We’ve created three days of incredible mountain biking that you couldn’t otherwise access and limited the numbers to keep it really special. We’ll put on evening entertainment, bicycle demos and an Expo area, we’ll feed you, water you and provide all the drinks. There’s even an uplift each day to start you off.
THE EX is based on providing top-level riding and going all out on every other aspect of our event, from facilities to food and from an all-inclusive bar to our uplift element. From the start, we made it our mantra not to cut corners and provide the highest possible standard at THE EX.
Included in the entry fee is:
- 6-10 gravity special stages each day with dibber timing system
- Access to private land using trails that are not available to the public outside the event
